Summary
A paper record sleeve for a vinyl record, the twelve inch vinyl single version of ‘Boom Shack A Lack’ by Apache Indian. One side of the sleeve is orange with green decoration and ‘mango’ printed in red letters and the other side is purple with red decoration and ‘mango’ printed in green letters. The purple side has copyright information printed at the bottom in small green text. Both sides of the sleeve have a circular hole in the centre through which the paper labels on the centre of the vinyl record can be seen when the record is housed within the sleeve.
Provenance
Paper sleeve for a vinyl record, the twelve inch single 'Boom Shack A Lack' recorded by Apache Indian (Steven Kapur) and released by Mango Records on 2nd August 1993. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 13th August 1993 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
