Summary
A vinyl record, the twelve inch single version of ‘Boom Shack A Lack’ by Apache Indian. The record contains four songs; an edit and an instrumental version of ‘Boom Shack A Lack’ on Side One and the original version of ‘Boom Shack A Lack’ and ‘Warning’ on Side Two. Each side of the record has a black label in its centre which has a yellow Mango Records logo at the top, below which the artists name is printed in silver capital letters. The song titles specific to each side are printed in the centre of each label with song writing, production and publishing credits below. To the left of centre on each label is the records catalogue number (162-537 859-1) while to the right of centre there is a bar code. Apache Indian (Steven Kapur) is a British musician and DJ from Handsworth in Birmingham, active since 1980. ‘Boom Shack A Lack’ was released by Mango Records on 2nd August 1993 and is his best known and most successful release.
