Summary
A cardboard record sleeve for the two vinyl records that comprise the album ‘Facts and Fictions’ by Asian Dub Foundation. The front cover of the sleeve has a photograph of the five members in the band above which the bands name is printed in red capital letters and the albums title in blue capital letters. At the top of the front cover there is an old map of Asia showing countries including India, Nepal, Burma and Afghanistan. The rear of the sleeve is predominantly blue with a red strip at the bottom. On the blue section there is a large eye shaped logo while on the red strip the titles of the ten songs on the record are printed in white letters. The albums catalogue number (NAT58 LP) is printed in the bottom right corner of the rear of the sleeve.
Provenance
Cardboard sleeve for the two vinyl records that comprise the album Facts and Fictions recorded by Asian Dub Foundation and released on the Nation record label in January 1995. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 31st August 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project
