Summary
A vinyl record, the album ‘Rollin’ by The Bay City Rollers. The record contains twelve songs, six on each side. Both sides of the record have a sliver paper label in the centre and the labels have a Bell Records logo printed on the left hand side with the records catalogue number (BELLS 244) printed immediately underneath and also on the right hand side. At the bottom of the label is the list of song titles specific to each side with song writer and publishing credits printed next to each song title. The records title ‘ROLLIN’ is printed in the centre of each label with ‘BAY CITY ROLLERS’ printed at the bottom. The Bay City Rollers were a Scottish pop band who achieved worldwide fame in the 1970’s. Rollin’ was their first full length album and was recorded in 1973 and 1974. It was produced by Bill Martin and Phil Coulter and was released on the Bell Records label in October 1974. The members of the band who performed on the album were: Les McKeown, Eric Faulkner, Stuart Wood, Alan Longmuir and Derek Longmuir.

Vinyl record recorded by The Bay City Rollers in 1973 and 1974. Released on the Bell records label in October 1974. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 5th March 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
