Summary
A vinyl record, the album ‘Children Talking’. The record features fourteen interviews with children, eight on Side One and six on Side Two, originally undertaken by Harold Williamson for the BBC TV programme ‘Children Talking’. Each side of the record has a blue paper label in the centre which has ‘music for pleasure’ printed at the top in silver letters. Below this is an ‘mfp’ logo that has ‘PAUL HAMLYN’ and ‘EMI RECORDS’ printed around its outside. To the left and right of the centre on each label, the catalogue number of the record (MFP 1224) is printed and at the bottom of each label is a list of the interviews that appear on that specific side of the record. The record plays in mono sound at a speed of 33 1/3 RPM. The record was released on the Music For Pleasure label in 1968.
