Summary
A cardboard record sleeve for a twelve inch vinyl single record featuring three versions of the theme tune from the BBC TV series Dr. Who, produced by BBC Enterprises Ltd. and released in 1986. The front of the sleeve has ‘DR WHO’ printed at the top in large red letters with ‘THEME FROM THE BBC TV SERIES’ printed immediately below in smaller yellow letters. In the centre is an image of the control deck from Dr. Who’s Tardis and above this there is a hologram which shows some of the villains against whom Dr. Who battles in the show, including a Dalek, a Cyberman and Davos. The rear of the sleeve again has ‘DR WHO’ printed at the top in large red letters with ‘THEME FROM THE BBC TV SERIES’ printed immediately below in smaller yellow letters and also has the image of the control deck from the Tardis. Immediately above the control deck there is a grey box that contains details of the songs on each side of the record, plus production and design credits. There is a BBC logo in red letters on a yellow background in the top left corner and the records catalogue number (12RXL 193) is printed in the top right corner.
