The record is contained in a cardboard record sleeve and comes with an additional paper insert sleeve that contains printed lyrics for the songs on the record and black and white photographs of the musicians who played on it, plus a leaflet for the David Bowie International Fan Club. This is an original first press UK edition of the record.
Provenance
Vinyl record recorded by David Bowie between 9th July 1971 and 4th February 1972 and released by RCA on 6th June 1972. Sleeve photographs taken by Brian Ward on 13th January 1972 and recoloured by Terry Pastor. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 30th March 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
