Summary
A vinyl record, the twelve inch single version of ‘Females (Get On Up)’ by Cookie Crew. The record contains the song ‘Females (Get On Up) on Side A and the songs ‘Females (Get On Up) (Pile Up)’ and ‘Females (Get On Up) (The Godmother) on Side B. There is an orange label in the centre of both sides of the record. The label on Side A has a large letter 'A' in its centre with Rhythm King printed around the outside and the song title for the side and the records catalogue number (LEFT 12T) printed below the letter ‘A’. The label on the other side has a Rhythm King Records logo in its centre, with the song titles for that side printed below. Also printed on the label on this side are songwriter and production details, with the records catalogue number printed at the bottom. The speed for playing the record (45RPM) is printed to the left and right of the Rhythm King logo. Cookie Crew were a rap music duo from London, comprised of MC Remedee (Debbie Pryce) and Susie Q (Susan Banfield). They were active from between 1983 and 1992. 'Females (Get On Up)' was recorded at The Chocolate Factory studio in London and was released by Rhythm King Records.
