Summary
A cardboard record sleeve for the vinyl record ‘Bullet From A Gun’ by Derek B. The front of the sleeve has a black and white image of Derek B standing next to a car with the artists name and the records title printed in white and red letters. There is a circular black label stuck on the front which lists three of the song titles included on the record. The rear of the sleeve has two more black and white photographs of Derek B, plus a printed list of the song titles on the record. There is a ‘Tuff Audio’ logo at the bottom centre on this side, a Phonogram Records logo at the bottom left and a ‘RUSH Artist Management’ logo at the bottom right. The records UK (DRKLP1) and International (834 732-1) catalogue numbers are printed at the top right on the rear of the sleeve.
Provenance
Cardboard sleeve for a vinyl record, the album Bullet From A Gun recorded by Derek Boland (Derek B) and released by Phonogram records on its Tuff Audio label in 1988. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
