Summary
A protective paper sleeve for an audio cassette tape single containing the songs ‘(Everything I Do) I Do It For You’ and ‘She’s Only Happy When She’s Dancing’ (Live) by Bryan Adams. The front of the sleeve features a silhouette image of two characters from the film ‘Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves’ in which (Everything I Do) I Do It For You featured. Above this image ‘BRYAN ADAMS’ is printed in white letters while below, the song title is printed in pink lettering. There is an A&M Records logo printed on the sides of the sleeve together with the cassette tapes catalogue number (AMMC789). On the rear of the sleeve is a small image of Kevin Costner as Robin Hood taken from the Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves film, plus details of production and song writing credits printed in small black letters. The sleeve is open ended which allows for the casette tape to be inserted for storage.
Provenance
Paper sleeve used to store a casette tape recorded by Bryan Adams in March 1991 and released by A&M Records on June 18th 1991. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via Discogs on 5th August 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
