Summary
The original cardboard box packaging for a Pokémon Stadium 2 video game cartridge. The top of the box has a ‘Pokémon Stadium’ trademark logo in the centre in yellow and red letters above a colour image of two characters from the game in combat in the stadium. One of the characters is a dragon type creature who is breathing fire. The sides of the box also feature this image while the bottom of the box has printed text and images highlighting some of the games key features. Printed in the bottom right corner of the bottom of the box, immediately above a bar code, is ‘NUS-R-NPOP-NHAU’. This is also printed on all four of the inside flaps when the ends of the box are opened up. Pokémon is a series of video games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo.

Manufactured in Japan for Nintendo Co. Ltd in 2000. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay on 17th September 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
