Summary
A Trainers Guide instruction booklet for a Pokémon Red Version video game. The one hundred and twenty four page booklet contains printed instructions and diagrams of how to set up and play this version of the game and provides details of some of the games key features. The booklet also contains warranty information for the game. The front cover of the booklet has the POKÉMON' trademark logo printed in large yellow letters with 'Trainer's Guide' printed underneath also in yellow. In the top left front corner there is a Nintendo trademark logo and in the top right corner is printed 'DMG-P-APSU-NHAU'. On the rear page there is a Nintendo trademark logo at the bottom. The booklet is held together with two metal staples. Pokémon is a series of video games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo.
Provenance
Printed in Germany. Included with a Pokémon Red Version video game cartridge manufactured in Japan for Nintendo Co. Ltd in 1999. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay on 17th September 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
