Summary
A Trainers Guide instruction booklet for a Pokémon Crystal Version video game. The one hundred page booklet contains printed instructions and diagrams of how to set up and play this version of the game and provides details of some of the games key features. The booklet also contains warranty information for the game. The front cover of the booklet has the ‘POKÉMON' trademark logo printed in large yellow letters, below which is printed 'Crystal Version' in white letters with 'TRAINER'S GUIDE' printed at the bottom again in white letters. In the top right corner of the front is printed 'CGB-P-BYTP-NHAU'. On the rear page there is a red Nintendo trademark logo at the bottom. The booklet is held together with two metal staples. Pokémon is a series of video games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo.
Provenance
Included with a Pokémon Crystal Version video game cartridge manufactured in Japan for Nintendo/Game Freak in 2001. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay on 17th September 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
