Summary
A grey plastic Star Wars All Terrain Armoured Transport (AT-AT) walker toy by Kenner. The AT-AT has four legs with joints/hinges that allow the legs to be moved so that the toy can walk. Each leg sits on a circular foot. In the centre of the main body of the toy there is a hinged door inside which there is space to accommodate up to ten action figures from the Star Wars accessory range which were sold separately from the AT-AT. Also inside this space is a handle which can be used to move the head of the toy, plus a flip top lid which covers the space where the batteries to operate the toy are enclosed. The head of the toy has a missile/gun on each side and a hinged lid which can be lifted so that an action figure can be located inside the cockpit area. The All Terrain Armoured Transport walker was a four legged transport and combat vehicle that first appeared in the Star Wars film ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ released in 1980.
