Summary
Twelve rolls of Beatles themed cellophane self-adhesive tape, attached to their original cardboard packaging and contained in a protective cellophane envelope. The circular rolls of tape feature a colour image of the Beatles pop group in the centre with ‘BEATLES’ written above the image in white letters on a green background and ‘CELLOPHANE TAPE' written in white letters below the image on a red background. All of the rolls of tape are stapled to the original cardboard backing which is predominantly yellow and has ‘BEATLES Cellophane SELF-ADHESIVE TAPE' printed in white and yellow letters on a green background in the top left corner and an image of a red tape cutter accessory tool pictured at the top right, below which is printed 'WITH TAPE CUTTER' in green letters. In the top right corner of the protective envelope there is a white label with '20' written on it in red ink and on the reverse in the top left corner there is also a rolled up white label attached. The Beatles were an English pop group formed in Liverpool in 1960 whose members were John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Known as ‘The Fab Four’ their recording career lasted until 1970 and they are considered by many to be the most influential band of all time.
