Summary
A circular tin badge issued in 1984 to mark the centenary of the UK charity The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). The badge is white and has an image in black in the centre of a child sitting and holding their head. Around the edge of the badge at the top is printed 'NSPCC CENTENARY' in green letters and at the bottom '1984' in red numbers. The reverse side of the badge has a safety pin by which it can be attached. The NSPCC is a UK children's charity founded in 1884.

Issued in 1984 to mark the centenary of The NSPCC. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay on 27th June 2019 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
