Summary
A pair of child’s dungarees. Made of cotton with a 'Flower Power' design of an orange, mustard and white floral pattern on a bright yellow background. A white label on the inside of the elasticated waist has the makers name (CUCKOO) in black stitch below an image of a cuckoo in blue stitch. The garments size (30) is also on the label in red stitch. The dungarees have two shoulder straps which are secured to the front by two small plastic buttons, one on each side.

Manufactured by Cuckoo circa 1970's. Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay on 7th March 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
