Summary
An original copy of the DC comic book Batman Legends Of The Dark Knight Vol. 1 No. 120 published in August 1999. The comic book features the iconic character Batman in the story ‘Assembly’ written by Greg Rucka. The front cover illustration is by Sean Parsons, Dale Eaglesham and Patrick Martin and shows Batman and his assistant Robin in the centre with a male and a female character on either side of them. At the bottom right of the cover illustration is the name ‘PARSONS’. At the top of the front cover, ‘BATMAN LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT’ is printed in large white letters and at the bottom the title of the comic book story ‘ASSEMBLY’ is printed, also in large white text. Below this are the names ‘Rucka’, ‘Deodato’ and ‘Parsons’, denoting Greg Rucka, Sean Parsons and Mike Deodato Jr. another artist who worked on the illustrations for the story. In the top left corner there is a DC Comics logo and immediately below this are printed the issue number (120), the comics US ($1.99) and Canadian ($3.25) prices and the publication date (Aug 99). In the top right corner there is a logo showing that the comic is approved by the Comics Code Authority. On the extreme left edge of the cover ‘NO MAN’S LAND’ is written in large red letters on a yellow and black stripped background. In the centre of the cover there is a white price label for £39-95. The comic book is contained within a sealed cellophane envelope. DC Comics is an American comic book publisher founded in 1934. Its comics feature iconic characters including Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman.
