Summary
An original copy of the Marvel Comics comic book X-Men Vol. 1 No. 120 published in April 1979. The comic book features the X-Men characters in the story ‘Wanted: Wolverine! Dead Or Alive!’ written by Chris Claremont and John Byrne. The front cover has a colour illustration of the X-Men by Bob Budianski, Terry Austin and Danny Crespi, with ‘THE UNCANNY X-MEN’ written at the top in white yellow and orange letters. ‘CHAOS IN CANADA’ is written in white letters at the bottom. In the top left corner the UK price of the comic (12p) is printed inside a white bubble and below this are the faces of the various X-Men characters on a green background. In the top right corner there is logo to show that the comic is approved by The Comics Code Authority and next to this are printed the issue number (120), month of publication (APR) and the number '02461' in black print. The comic book is contained in a protective cellophane envelope. Marvel Comics is the publisher of American comic books that feature a range of super hero characters including Captain Marvel, Spiderman, Thor, The X-Men and The Fantastic Four. Marvel Comics was started in 1939 by Martin Goodman.
