Summary
The original cardboard box packaging for a plastic replica Batmobile toy car, manufactured by Mego toys. The box is yellow and orange and has a picture of the Batmobile being driven by Batman with his assistant Robin in the passenger seat on all of its sides and on both ends. There is a block logo for Mego Corp. in the left hand corner on all sides. On the two ends of the box the number '51325' is printed in the top left corner and on one side is printed 'CAT. NO. 74006'. On the other side of the box, printed on a white label is the number '350/7751'. Batman is a fictional superhero who appears in comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger and first appeared in 1939. The Batmobile is the car driven by Batman in his fight against crime in Gotham City.

Made by The Mego Corporation circa 1974. Purchased by The National Trust Museum Of Childhood via Ebay on 16th February 2020 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
