Summary
An A4 sized typed letter on paper from Janine Modder, Production Supervisor at Warner Bros. Productions Ltd. to Mr. K.W. Collins inviting him and his family to visit the film set at Leavesden Studios where the film ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ was being made. The letter is dated 19 February 2001 and is signed in blue ink. At the top of the letter there is a ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ logo in silver and black text and an address, phone and fax numbers for Leavesden Studio are printed at the bottom of the page. Mr. K.W. Collins was the father of Verity Collins who worked as an extra on the film. The film was predominantly shot at Leavesden Film Studios in 2000/2001. The film was released in the UK on 16th November 2001. It is based on the debut novel of the same name by J.K. Rowling and became a critical and commercial success.
