Summary
Tri-ang Diesel Series Articulated Shell BP Tanker c.1950, comprising red Driving Trailer with Triang trademark on the roof and red Tanker Trailer, with 'Shell BP' on both sides with a hinged black metal filler cap. SIX solid rubber wheels with plated metal centres. The original white rubber hose has been replaced by a plastic one. The Driving Trailer has FOUR wheels and white metal radiator and light fittings. The Tanker Trailer has TWO wheels and can be detached from the Driving Unit by a spring loaded catch mechanism. .The tyres contain the name LB (Line Bros) Ltd which is the former name of Tri-ang. The original box is catalogued as 672404.2
