Summary
A 1980's Girl Guide blouse with badges, coloured blue with small violet coloured buttons down the front. There are four badges on the front two fabric badges sewn on and two metal badges pinned on. On the sleeves are many fabric badges sewn on and a metal badge pinned on the left sleeve. On the neck band is a white label with 'Official item supplied by the Girl Guide Association' and with a Girl Guide Logo. Another label giving washing instructions 67% polyester cotton Made in Great Britain. The object is associated with CMS record 672401 (Girl Guide badges).
Provenance
A gift to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Jessica Matthew in 2019 she was the owner in 1980s.
