Summary
A soft toy Zebra (named Zoe) light cream in colour with brown glass eyes, black stripes and nose. The end of his tail is badly worn. This object is associated with CMS record 672383 (photograph and letter)
Provenance
A gift to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Caroline Langsdale in 2019. The previous owner was the donor's brother, Richard Morris (1931-2000), who later became Lt. Col. Richard Quinton Mull Morris O.B.E.. Zoe (Zebra) was bought in Lorenzo Marques (Portuguese East Africa) in 1935 by Mrs. I. C. Morris when returning from Durban (South Africa) on the German ship SS UBENA.
