Summary
A vintage Norah Wellings doll. Made of velvet and stuffed with kapok, the doll is female, has a jointed head and black hair and is smiling. She is dressed in a servants style costume comprising of a brown checked dress and hat. a white apron and black boots. On the sole of one of the boots is a sewn on label that says: ‘'MADE IN ENGLAND BY NORAH WELLINGS’.

Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay on 29th October 2018 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
