Summary
An empty plastic bottle for Fairy Liquid washing up liquid. The bottle is white with a red flip top lid/nozzle. On the front of the bottle is written the slogan 'mild green FAIRY LIQUID' in green and red text above an image of the 'Fairy' Baby. Below the image is written 'for hands that do dishes' in faded white text. The rear of the bottle has notes to new users in red text while the makers name (Proctor & Gamble Limited) and the place of production (Newcastle) are written down one side. At the top on two sides of the bottle is an advert in black text in a yellow background to say that there is '6d off' the price of the bottle. The bottle is 14.5 fluid ounces in size. These types of washing up liquid bottles are frequently used by children to make toys such as model rockets and spacecraft, often encouraged by TV programmes such as Blue Peter.
