Summary
A round metal chocolate and sweet tin, the ‘Family Drum’ that would have contained an assortment of sweets including Galaxy, Ripple, Mars Bar, Marathon, Bounty and Twix. ‘Family Drum’ is written on the lid of the tin in yellow text and it is decorated with images of the various sweets it would have contained on the lid and sides. The base has information on the weight and ingredients of the various chocolate bars that would have been in the tin. The 'Family Drum' was manufactured by Mars Confectionary.

Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay in January 2017 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
