Summary
A nineteenth century silver and coral baby’s rattle. The rattle has a foliate repousse knop that supports four bells and a red coral teething end. The bells provide the rattle effect when the object is moved.

Purchased by the National Trust Museum of Childhood via ebay on 1st February 2019 as part of the Collecting Cultures 'Exploring Childhoods' project.
