Summary
A Peter Pan red plastic toy chocolate vending machine, designed to dispense miniature chocolate bars on the insertion of a 2 pence coin. The toy has ‘chocolates’ in gold print at the top on the front and ‘2p’ in a circle, plus two indicator arrows showing the slots for coins, also all in gold. The machine was originally intended to take Cadbury’s dairy milk miniatures but can also be used as a money box. The toy is contained in its original cardboard packaging which has the words 'AUTOMATIC CHOCOLATE MACHINE' in white text on a blue background at the top of the front and the words '& SAVINGS BANK' again in white on a blue background at the bottom. The packaging is decorated in multi-coloured circular shapes and has an image of the toy on its rear.
