Summary
A doll of ‘Sporty Spice’ Melanie Chisholm from the pop band The Spice Girls in its original packaging. The doll is made of PVC and is from the ‘Spice Girls On Stage’ official merchandise set. The doll is dressed in blue dungarees and the box also contains a Spice Girls Glitterball, a white jumper with a multicoloured 'Girl Power' logo and a pair of black shoes/boots. The front of the box has 'Sporty Spice' written in pink text at the top right corner and 'Spice Girls On Stage' in pink and blue text at the bottom. There are images of four of the Spice Girls ('Sporty', 'Posh', 'Baby' and 'Scary') on the back of the box and on one side confirming that the doll was produced after May 1998 when 'Ginger' Spice Geri Halliwell left the band. The Spice Girls formed in the UK in 1994 and were made up of Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) Victoria Beckham (nee Adams - Posh Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice).
