Summary
The base of the box for a Peter Pan card game dating from the 1940s. It is made of card and covered in pale pink shiny, textured paper. The card game is part of the Pepys Series published by Castell Brothers Ltd, London and Glasgow, Great Britain with permission from the original publishers of the Peter Pan card game Messrs. H. P. Gibson & Sons Ltd.
Provenance
Donated to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Jane Shuker in 2015. Owned by the donor and her sister Mary in the 1950s or early 1960s.
