Summary
The cards for playing the game 'Tops and Tails', made from colour-printed cardboard. They are 'half size' playing cards, intended to be placed together to form a figure in National Costume, either matching halves or mismatching to make a 'funny combination'. There are 48 cards - a full set.
Provenance
Donated to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Jane Shuker in 2015. Owned by the donor and her sister Mary in the 1950s or early 1960s.
