Summary
A marionette puppet of a female character, made for the Lilliput Marionette Theatre Company. The puppet has a head made from modelling material, with moulded facial features. She has no hair and her facial details are painted on, blue, white and black eyes, pink lips and black eyebrows. Her body, arms and legs are made of wood, jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist, hips, knees and ankles. Her body is unpainted, with pink on her lower legs and feet. His hands and feet are made of modelling material, her hands painted flesh colour. She is wearing a white cotton blouse with long sleeves edged with lace and a dark green dress over this. The dress has a deep neckline revealing broderie anglaise and lace. Around hers waist is a long white/cream cotton apron edged with broderie anglaise. She has a metal ring in each side of her head, to which lengths of brown string and thin cord are attached through the cotton cap she wears. This is edged with lace. She has no control.
