Summary
Betty Rubble she is part of a Flintstone Bowling Alley Set. Betty Rubble is a cream coloured plastic skittle with black hair and red dress. The set consists of six plastic characters from the TV series of the Flintstones: Fred, Wilma, Baby Puss, Betty, Barney, Deeno and four coloured balls (2 red and 2 yellow). The Flintstones was a American TV animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera. The series takes place in a romanticized Stone Age setting, and follows the activities of the titular family, the Flintstones and their next-door neighbors the Rubbles. It was originally broadcast on ABC TV from 30th September 1960 until 1st April 1966 as the first animated series to hold a prime time slot on TV. Betty is Barney Rubble's wife and Wilma Flintstone best friend and like Wilma she too is slightly more intelligent than her husband and has habit of spending money.
Provenance
A gift to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Susan Wright in 2019. A game played by the family.
