Summary
Fred Flintstone he is part of a Flintstone Bowling Alley Set. Fred is a cream coloured plastic molded skittle with black hair black tie and a brown tunic. The set consists of six plastic skittles of characters from the TV series of the Flintstones: Fred, Wilma, Baby Puss, Betty, Barney, Deeno and four coloured balls (2 red and 2 yellow). The Flintstones was a American TV animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera. The series takes place in a romanticized Stone Age setting, and follows the activities of the titular family, the Flintstones and their next-door neighbors the Rubbles. It was originally broadcast on ABC TV from 30th September 1960 until 1st April 1966 as the first animated series to hold a prime time slot on TV. Fred is Wima's husband he is the main character of the series. Fred is an accident-prone bronto-crane operator at the State Rock and Gravel Company and head of the Flintstone household .
Provenance
A gift to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Susan Wright in 2019. A game played by the family.
