Summary
Game of Life - a board game for 2-6 players. Age 8 to adult. It is in a box with a picture of the game being played on the top of the box.The game consists of a board with 3 mountains, a tollbridge, 7 buildings and a wheel of fortune.There is a card and money holder of blue plastic, containing bank notes, insurance certificates, promissory notes and share certificates.There are 30 blue cards, 4 of which are exemption cards, 8 are share the wealth cards and 18 are status symbol cards.There are 6 plastic cars: 1 red, 1 yellow, 1 white, 1 black, 1 green and 1 blue. They each have 6 plastic pins, some blue, some pink, in the back. There is a cigar tin (not part of the game) containing 10 blue plastic pins and 14 pink plastic pins.There is a Game of Life paper instruction leaflet.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mike Nixon in November 2016. It was owned by the donors children.
