Summary
A multi-coloured Popples cuddly toy with a long, thin, blue tail terminating in a yellow and orange pom-pom. The soft toy has a pocket in the back with a Popples label attached. It is bright green with orange hair, pink cheeks, a white nose and a yellow tummy. It has one orange and one pale blue ear, and a red and white tongue The pads on the paws are either pale blue or red. The toy has a red plastic spot on the end of its nose and two black and white plastic eyes.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood in 2016 by Judith Parry. This was bought for the donor (born 1980) in about 1985.
Marks and inscriptions
Attached to leg: Circular white lable sewn into the pocket with purple thread and the word POPPLES printed on it together with a printed red character.
