Summary
The rain cover for the main body of the carrycot part of a doll's pram - the 'Super Sprite' by 'Cumfifolda'. It is made from a nylon type red fabric, lined with blue plastic, and is shaped to fit over the 'foot' end of the carrycot, the join on this part decorated with white piping at the seam. The cover fastens to the body of the pram with two large press studs. There is a flap which can be made to stand up at the 'head' end, and this fastens to the main body of the carrycot with elastic loops.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mr Keith Richardson. It had belonged to his daughters Adele (b1963) and Dawne (b1965), and was bought from Redgate’s in Sheffield.
