Summary
A print (hand coloured?) on a cream card mount,of two chimney climbing boys sitting on top of adjacent chimney pots reading a book. Printed at the top of the image is 'A High Treat' with 'THE FELLOW STUDENTS' at the lower edge. The frame which once contained this print is catalogued as 668790. The book the boys are reading is 'Joe Miller's jests - 'a collection of contemporary and ancient coarse witticisms'. Joe Miller was an English actor (1684-1738), an the book was published after his death buy John Mottley (1692-1750). (Ex Climbing Boys Collection).
