Summary
A cream coloured child's dress made from silk crepe which is covered by a embroidered floral motif and has a lace hem. The dress has a round neck and short puffed sleeves, all edged with narrow lace. There are also two insertions of narrow lace at each side of the front yoke.
Provenance
Gift to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Mrs. Elisabeth Ritchie in 2016. The dress was worn by the donor (Elisabeth Ritchie nee Embury born 1946) and her younger sister (Janette Embury born 1952).
