Summary
A cream coloured child's dress made from washing silk, with short puffed sleeves and a round neck which are all edged with narrow lace. It is decorated with a floral pattern embroidered in pink, blue and white on the front of the yoke and above the lace trim at the hem.
Provenance
Gift to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Mrs. Elisabeth Ritchie in 2016 The dress was worn by the donor (Elisabeth Ritchie nee Embury born 1946) and her younger sister (Janette Embury born 1952).
