Summary
A light blue child's dressing gown made from possibly man-made fabric with a silk lining and a cord tie for the waist. Similar cord trims the 'Peter Pan' collar. It was made (or sold) by a company called Sterling and is a children's size 20.
Provenance
A gift to the National Trust Museum of Childhood by Mrs. Elisabeth (Liz) Ritchie in 2016. The dressing gown was probably worn by donor's brother (Howard Embury) who was born in 1940/41.
