Summary
A bound cigarette card album with a purple-brown card binding inscribed on the front cover with 'Cigarette, Cards' and a duo-tone illustration of a battleship and an aeroplane. Each page contains six cigarette cards slotted into the page, all manufactured by Wills's cigarettes. These have various colour illustrations, including the wild west, government buildings and enlistment advertisements from the First World War. The penultimate pages are partly empty of cards and the last page has none at all. Separate from the album, but found inside is a larger cigarette card with a colour illustration of a sea captain from 1642. This card is manufactured by Player's Cigarettes. The reverse explains that this is part of a 'History of Naval Dress' series and is No. 4 of 25. Information about the illustration and manufacturing details is also given. Total number of items is 2.
