Summary
A postcard album with a leather imitation brown and black textured paper cover. On the front cover is a colour postcard of York Minster and beneath this the words 'Post Cards' are impressed into the cover. In the bottom left-hand corner of the front cover the words 'British Made' are impressed. The spine is showing signs of wear - the paper is lifting. Inside are black paper pages with diagonal slits to hold the corners of the sepia and black and white photograph postcards of church exteriors and interiors and other buildings. There are also some portrait photograph postcards of Greta Garbo and colour printed postcards of wild flowers. Some of the paper leaves are empty. There is a newspaper cutting from The Sketch on Monday, March 12 1928.
Marks and inscriptions
On the green label on the inside of the cover: 'BRITISH MADE/ TO HOLD/ 300 CARDS.' On teh label stuck to the fly leaf: ''ONWARD'-/ EX LIBRIS/ ARTHUR-HUNNARD'
