Summary
A bound album with blue paper over card, with gold coloured embossed flowers and impressed in gold coloured ink are the word 'Post-Cards'. The pages are green paper and each of these contain eight diagonal slits which allow two postcards to be inserted per page. The cards depict buildings and countryside views. One of the pages is loose. Inside the album is a card certificate printed in black ink. The certificate reads as follows 'Scholars Certificate Given By The London Institute For The Advancement Of Plain Needlework. This Is To Notify That Lily Mitchell has passed a very fair Examination in plain needlework 'Pinafore' according to Grade I, Signed Manager Isabella C. Chessar, Decr. 1907'. This is bordered by printed passion fruit flowers. Total number of items is 3.
