Summary
A wool khaki uniform cap from a Second World War military uniform, possibly belonging to a major. The cap has a pinned back brim. This brim fastens at the bottom with two buttons embossed with a coat of arms. A cap badge is fastened to one side of the cap. This is circular in shape, incorporating a crown and a shield. The cap badge has a Latin motto and the words 'Royal Army Ordnance Corps' embossed in brown on black. The inside has a brown lining with a pin inserted on one side. This has made part of the lining turn green. The manufacturer's name 'Tress And, Co London’ is printed inside a diamond.
