Summary

A metal key used to wind up an automaton. The shaft is circular with a square hollow which would fit onto a metal winding shaft. The head of the key is in the shape of an elongated heart, with a circular hole in one corner.

On loan to the Museum of Childhood from Mrs C. V. E. Benfield.
