Summary
A folding pushchair used by the donor as a toddler in 1948. The footrest has the manufacturers name 'Nu-Fold' stamped into it. The pushchair folds up to be carried, and is formed of a metal frame with hessian fabric stretched across to form the seat. It is in fair condition with just some of the paint flaking away from the metal. The pram has has a 'seatbelt' made from a brown leather strap, which was added by the donor's father.
Provenance
Bought by the donor's parents, and used by the donor as a toddler in 1948. Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Mrs Barbara Bayley in November 2011.
