Summary
A thick winter blanket for a pram made with a large panel of white animal fur (possibly rabbit) bordered and backed by a black, woollen, woven fabric (circa 1939 - circa 1945). The blanket was used by the donor's mother to cover her children and was used during the War (probably second World War), when the donor's father was serving in the Royal Navy, and at that time had a naval badge in the centre, which has not been donated. The blanket goes with a previously donated 'baby carriage' - record number 671254.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by Joy Timbrell in November 2012.
