Summary
A soft toy dog made with real fur. It is part of a collection of toy / modal animals collected by the donor while living in Canada as a child in the 1950's / early 1960's. The body, tail and ears of the dog are made of curly real fur in a cream colour with light brown patches. The head and belly are probably made of artificial fur in cream and brown. The dog also has plastic eyes in red and black, a black plastic nose and a red felt tongue.
Provenance
Collected by the donor during the late 1950’s / early 1960’s, and donated to the Museum of Childhood by Ms Deborah Neal in May 2012.
